Let's say that I have black/dark brownish hair and I highlighted my hair medium brown (clairol) since today. I'm just wondering am I suppose to wait till the color shows tomorrow or am I using a product that can't be seen?

My hair is long and naturally wavy. A year ago I had it coloured and for the past year and a half I have had to do my hair up in a bun almost all the time because my hair is badly damaged, dry and brittle. I look unkempt with my hair down. I tried home made remedies (olive oil, mayonaise), but I just don't see the difference. What to do? Must I have my hair cut shorter?

I have really long hair and want to cut it. I want it just barely at or below the shoulders, but I want it to look sorta feathery like a lot of emo hair I've seen. I also want bangs that are similar, are emo, but are UNIQUE. I want them to cover one eye, but i don't want the other side of my forehead to become a big baldspot. Im Expecting, so I'm taking prenatal pills I heard that helps hair grow faster! I havent dyed my hair in 5 months so what else can I do to help it grow faster? I want it really long so after I have the baby i can go & get it done... also, how often should I be trimming my hair?? Thank Youuuu!

I have had the thinnest and straighest hair since i was born. I always go thru a stage where i have a hard time picking out how i want to cut my hair because i dont know what will look good with the type of hair i have. I always do searches on it or ask people and they really dont help much. I have had really long hair with no real style and ive had shorter hair with alot of layer razor look--i REALLY want that medium-long wavy layer look and i was wondering how would i achieve that if i have such thin straight hair. I dont even have to brush my hair...If i were to go to the salon and ask to make my hair look wavy, you think they would know what im talking about? or if it was even possible?
