at home if you have some vinegar it is a good rinse....Redken has a product (pre-art) that is an in salon service that will take all of the build up off your hair....after you get it cleaned a weekly application of a professional deep cleansing shampoo like Redken hair cleansing creme will keep your hair build up free

Wash your hair with vinegar or a baking soda solution for a home solution. If you can get to a beauty supply store ask for a deep cleansing shampoo...the type you only use like once a week. Walmart may carry Some but they won't be as good.

bed head manipulator shampoo or kerastase bain clarifant.all need to be done on dry hair when there is products in it then a second application on wet hair.

u can try a clarifying shampoo, or mix baking soda with water & apply to your wet hair while in the shower & massage in, then shampoo & condition...

after you shampoo, take some baking soda in your palm, wet it into a paste, apply to hair & leave in for about a minute then rinse...squeaky clean hair!
