I assume you are a bloke and from your question I guess you are not very old. Personally I started losing my hair in my late 20s and now am about 50% bald. To be honest it does not bother me in the slightest, I just have to remember to wear some form of head protection on really sunny days. Hair loss is a natural phenomenon for a large percentage of men, but if it is such a bad thing why do so many shave their heads?

I am going through this also. Mine started 9 months ago and I am still losing hair in areas while the old areas are growing back. Its sometimes due to stress, but sometimes its a sign of something else. You need to go to the dermatologist. The dermatologist gives you shots in the areas to produce the hair growth faster.

my cousin used to have alophesia a couple of months ago. He went to a dermatologists and they said that it's a stress-related disease. there's this medicine that has been going around in my family that can mostly alleviate whatever disease or sickness we have. it's not a local brand here in the Philippines. i believe that it's imported from the US. it's called Transfer Factor Plus. My cousin take a couple of capsules a day. the last time i saw him, his hair is already growing again. you can check out these websites:

https://www.4life.com/products/Products.aspx
http://www.transferfactorinstitute.com

try to read thru these websites first. i do not recommend you to take it already. all im saying is that my cousin have the same problem as yours and this medicine helped him a lot.
i hoped i helped you in a way.:)

A very good friend of mine gets it. It's odd, the bald spot appears in different areas of his head.
He only gets it when he is stressed.
I don't know of any way to stop this happening.
