What makes us the most secure on the outside, Max, is our hair. And it goes much deeper than this, with alot of psycology. When someone joins the armed services, whats the first thing one has to give up? Answer: Your hair. When people going through chemo therapy lose their hair, I've been told, the most difficult event is when the hair falls off. So, in reference to your question, I think girls touch their hair for security, because maybe you make them nervous, or your so darn handsome they feel more comfortable touching their own. Perhaps, next time they do this, you should ask them: " Do you want to touch my hair?'' Hey, it maybe an icebraker question. Good luck with the girls.

There are several possible answers.
You could be making them uncomfortable. Perhaps something you said made them feel nervous or out of place.
There is a defenite possibility that they like you, or are at least physically attracted to you. Girls mainly touch their hair when they are nervous.
It could just be out of habit, depending on the number of girls that have been doing this around you. If ten girls all touch their hair when they're around you, I doubt it's just habit. But if it's just one or two, they might like having something to do with their hands.

i touch my hair all the time, and its just a habit. but i know some girls do when they feel nervous. depending on the way they touch their hair, it means differents things. if they are twirling a lock of hair around their fingers, they are flirting. if they seem to be vigorously brushing their hair with their fingers they are probably uncomfertable around you. w/e. good luck.
