My hair is thick, poofy, and frizzy, but it is straight, not curly. I want to find out ways to control the frizz of my hair, but the only websites I find are for curly hair. Does anyone know any products or websites I could go to, and does anyone recommend thinning it? Thanks

I have a million bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and I used a conditioner yesterday that was probably about a year old. Does conditioner go bad or something? Because now my hair has this awful oily film all through the top and it wont come out! Ive washed it like 10 times with a new shampoo and conditioner and it still looks and feels really greasy! What can I do?

I use professional products...I left Redken Extreme conditioner in my hair all night...washed it this AM, reconditioned , did not rinse the conditioner out. and it STILL looked dry and frizzy. So I put about a TEASPOON of serum on it, which I usually use 1 drop of, and it helped somewhat.
Is there anything else I can do?I could get my money back from the salon, but I don't even care about that. Does this just have to grow out?

Ugh, okay. Somebody told me that they've once tried putting vaseline in their hair, to restore it's health. So I tried it, because I've damaged my hair a LOT (I wash, blow dry and then straighten it everyday) Then I washed my hair about an hour later. I let my hair air dry, and to my horror, it seemed wet, even after a few hours. I tried blow drying it, that didn't work. Then I realized the vaseline still didn't wash out. I've tried shampooing and conditioning it 4 times already, no luck. Should I just try again or use another method. (I've already tried the cornstarch thing 3 times, it didn't work) help please!!!

I'm using L'Oreal Preference and the directions don't say whether or not you should wash your hair prior to dying. What do you think I should do?

I just straightened my hair, but it's still really poofy and a little frizzy. It is a powerful straightener and it does make my hair straighter, but it is still as poofy as before. What should I do?

I'm 13 and I went to my sister's beauty shop and she washed, cut, & layered my hair, my sister's boss came over to check on how she was doing and she said my hair had a lot of shampoo buildup, and said something about some kind of oil to get rid of it.

What kind of stuff can I use to get rid of shampoo buildup? I don't want to have to go to the store and buy things, I heard I can use baking soda or some other things, what can I use, how often, and how much?

also how do I properly massage my scalp/hair in the shower?

what’s the softest type/brand of hair to use for long jet black extensions? I want something that not only looks natural but that it's extremely soft to touch and thick and high quality.
