can someone tell me how to do cornrows (braids n such)?

for the longest ive been practicing with my brothers hair and im not good at it, but i still wanna do it and i promised him i'd braid his hair once it grew out longer, but still.... any tips on cornrow braiding and design?

i rencently just learned how to braid, like your brother, my boyfriend's been asking me to braid his hair too. i'm not crazy good yet, but i got the basics dow nto make a nice braid. i learned online through wikipedia. i was suprised that i learned through it. btu in other words when yo ustart braiding im sure you know to divide the hair up in 3 equal sections. when you pick up hair go completely across the row (i hope this makes sense) add it to the middle section of hair, then when you place the hair under or over the next piece, just repeat the process. i hope this helps, i know its confusing, but if i could only show you what i mean :o(but i hope that helps. :o)
