I just straightened my hair, but it's still really poofy and a little frizzy. It is a powerful straightener and it does make my hair straighter, but it is still as poofy as before. What should I do?

Use a straightening balm, or leave-in conditioner, to smooth it out. You can find one at your local pharmacy or at Sephora.

Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight shampoos, conditioners, and mousse are also good for people who straighten their hair (and it smells great).

For now, wet your hair with a spray bottle before straightening. To smooth it, put some olive oil (just a little!) on the bristles of your comb or brush, then brush it through your hair. You'll need to add more oil after a few strokes. Just put enough so that the bristles look greasy, but not so much that it becomes drippy.

try using a styling lotion in it (rather than gel). my sister has curly frizzy hair and she always uses the pantene simply staright products, they seem to work really well on her hair.
