Ugh, okay. Somebody told me that they've once tried putting vaseline in their hair, to restore it's health. So I tried it, because I've damaged my hair a LOT (I wash, blow dry and then straighten it everyday) Then I washed my hair about an hour later. I let my hair air dry, and to my horror, it seemed wet, even after a few hours. I tried blow drying it, that didn't work. Then I realized the vaseline still didn't wash out. I've tried shampooing and conditioning it 4 times already, no luck. Should I just try again or use another method. (I've already tried the cornstarch thing 3 times, it didn't work) help please!!!

in case you practice slightly cornstarch to the hair and heavily pat it into the hair, it is going to soak up some, if no longer all the vaseline. once you practice the cornstarch you may shampoo it out with a reliable clarifying shampoo and it would be got rid of. If the vaseline isn't thoroughly got rid of interior the 1st medical care, it is going to be got rid of to the element the place one greater medical care will get rid of all of it. confirm to apply heat to warm water interior the shampoo. chilly water makes the vaseline worse. or you may attempt putting some million teaspoon of baking soda and combining it with a commonplace toddler shampoo and this would desire to help. regrettably Vaseline is petroleum based and can be merely approximately impossible to get rid of. If the clarifying or baking soda does no longer paintings, attempt utilising gentle tissue to blot the hair and notice if that eliminates a number of it.

Aww... I'm sorry to hear that. I would try a different brand of shampoo that is for oily hair and a conditioner for oily hair. Hope that works and good luck with getting it out.

First use a towel and try to get as much of the vaseline out as you can, then rinse your hair with vinegar or cider vinegar than wash it again.

=OOOOO OMGG doesn't sound good at all! Ok, i would try sprinkling the baby powder in the hair method. Baby powder Sucks up ALOT of oil, So try that a couple of times... You should also try a Build-up remover Shampoo(clarifying shampoo) If that doesn't seem to work, then go to the salon and I'm SURE they can do something!

put shampoo in a squeeze bottle and add a little (about 1/4 of the shampoo) water.
do not wet your hair first.
apply the watered down shampoo right to your hair and SCRUB, SCRUB, SCRUB your scalp and fingercomb thru the ends.
rinse.
you'll be able to tell when it gets out. you can feel it.

Try lemon juice! If that doesn't work try baking soda and some warm water mixed. 1 tablespoon of baking soda to about a cup of water.

that will not condition your hair. use a high detergent shampoo, clarifier. If you want a gooey moisturizer from the cabinet, try mayo instead. peace

It won't come out for a good 3 months. You NEVER put vaseline in your hair, EVER. My mom did it, and it took her a long time to get it out. Think about getting some new friends. Also, do your research for these things!!

Try a clarifying shampoo, Pantene has one. It's so strong, it's to remove build up but it will get the Vaseline out no prob.
