You have to cut your hair off its the only way to help your hair. You are going to have to condition your hair a lot.
But you can this:
With your head over a garbage can, sink, or tub, apply enough canola oil to thoroughly soak your hair from root to tip. Wrap your hair completely with a plastic bag or plastic wrap. Wrap the plastic with a towel so it will retain the heat and hopefully prevent any oil from dripping. You'll need to leave the oil on your hair for an hour or two, so grab a book or surf the web while you wait. After at least an hour, jump in the shower and rinse your hair completely. It will take a while to get all the oil out, and you may need to use a gentle shampoo to help loosen it up. Lather your hair up with conditioner and let it sit for about two minutes, rinse and repeat. You'll need to follow this regimen for at least a week. Generally this will loosen up the perm. If, however, after the week is up, it's still too permed for your taste, you may need to consult a stylist to find out other options. But even if it doesn't rid you of your perm, your hair will be very moisturized for a while.
Make sure the conditioner is for permed hair.

I would recommend buying
Joico K-Pak Hair Reconstructor Deep-Penetrating Treatment
I've used it, because coloring my hair tends to dry my hair out. All of the Joico K-Pak products are amazing. Since my stylist recommended them, I have been using them and loving the results. You can purchase these at a salon, and Sally's Beauty Supply has a generic. You may want to try a hot oil treatment or go to a salon and get a deep-conditioning treatment. Make sure to use a diffuser while blow drying to prevent any additional frizziness. Be careful using serum on it, as it can easily make hair look dirty. Also, avoid using a brush, but instead use a pick after spaying a good leave-in conditioner. Another good product is Kenra platinum shaping creme. You can apply this when hair is dry or wet and it helps smooth and form your hair. Not only that, but it smells amazing. Hope to be of some help.

You Will Need To Give this Some Time And Treatments To "Restore" Your Hair. If You Can Find It, I Highly Recommend L'OREAL® The Hair Fixer Or Ineral® Just Use It With A Good Clear "Clean" (No-Conditioners) Shampoo And It Will Work Pretty Fast.

oh, I've been there before...I have dark brown hair...when the perm started growing out I litterally had a line that was dark brown on top and a reddish brown on bottom...
After I talked to a bunch of folks, this is basically what everybody told me...but be sure to wash your hair good afterwards...get a bottle of olive oil and a showercap...wrap a towel around your neck over your shoulders and pretty much drench your hair in olive oil...be sure to rub it down to your scalp really good and then put the showercap on...depending on the length of your hair and the severity of the dryness, leave the oil in your hair for 15-25 minutes...then wash really good...I still had the color difference but at least I had some moisture in my hair again...also, avoid blow drying for a while...
Good luck...and sorry that happened to you...

I hate to tell you this. It happened to me and I HAVE NEVER GOT A PERM SINCE. You have to cut it out. Cut the frizz off. YOu can't repair split or damaged hair. If you ignore it you are just going ot ruin the rest of your hair because the damage travels up the individual hair shaft. If you want fried hair leave it...if you want it to be healthy...just cut it and start over and DO NOT GO TO THAT HAIRDRESSER AGAIN! Yes demand you money back.

Ya you have to wait untill your hair grows out there is no way to reverse the damage you have to wait it out and grow it out. I'm sorry. Use leave in conditionars for now. Go back to the salon and ask if they have any treatments to help since they did ruin your hair I'm sure they would do it for cheep or free.

i agree with the lady above (the first lady that recommended cutting out the frizz). In addition to cutting out the frizz i would also continue to condition my hair. I alternate between Redkin Extreme and heavy cream. My stylist told me to do a recontructor one week and moisturizer the next. (keep alternating repair and moisture) BTW, i have dry hair.
