Hair - April 2007

I have hair that comes to about the middle of my back.

It is thick and wavy.

When i put my hair up there are these little curls.

My face is round and not very skinny.

Any opinions on how i'd look with side bangs?

Possilbly pics of the most flatering type for me?

ive heard raw egg whites are good but i also heard about the new organix coconut milk that also has egg whites, but someone told me that egg whites can`t penetrate the hair shaft so should i use the organix or not, because my hair is damaged so i need something that`ll penetrate and moisturize well? thanks

I have very fine but VERY thick medium length hair. It's not curly but has a natural wave if I let it dry naturally.I can't stand it. It's just too thick for me to do anything with and it's heavy and HOT in the summertime. Is hair thinning a good decision?

I'm leaning towards number 2 but I don't know if I did the "style " right. I want it kinda messy but not at the same time. Any products that can help with that? Because I used a comb.

I have a very small petite face/body. I have naturaly curly hair, i straighten it, rightnow it's past down my shoulders.
It has worn out- highlights.
It's brown, with blondish/lowlights in the back. As i said they are quite faded out.
My bangs arent really bangs anymore they go to my right side and used to be sideswept. now they are just.. if i leave them down [never do] icky looking mostly.

How can i cut my hair? please remember i have curly hair, i dont want to straighten it everyday unless it's my bangs or something.

I am 16 yrs old and male.My hair is thick, too thick and grows very fast . It tends to stand up on my head and looks awful. After shampoing it pulls out even more and looks worse. It is also quite dry.
I have tried many oils, shampoos, conditioners and natural remedies (including applying egg yolk)but nothing seems to work on them. I used Estolan conditioner and my hair did improve about 20% but its not going more than that.
And one more thing when i have just come out of the shower and my hair is wet it looks brilliant. Its so manageable, nice, smooth silky. But once it dries up it starts looking awful again. Someone recommended the Loreal Elvive Nutri Gloss leave-in conditioner to me. What do you think I should do?
The hair I dream of is smooth, silky, manageable and dead straight.

Should a professional hairstylest be able to strip dark brown dyed hair to the regrowth color (blondish/verylight brown) if time and money is not a concern for the client ?
I origanallly wanted to get those neat highlights over the top layer of my hair the way the kids are doing it these days, but NOT so perfectly placed or chunky, but my regrowth is coming in and I don't really want to dye it dark any more and I figured a professional would be able to blend the three somehow (the regrowth, old dark hair, and new light highlights) To make a slow progression that eventually will work its way lighter and lighter "over years" to something more resembleing my natural color. This one hair dresser said it may look strange, and I said well then I should I strip my hair to my regrowth and then maybe do highlights, she said it would never be the same color as the regrowth and said I should just cut it, So is she just not confident in her own skills and I should keep looking for someone what?

I have dry(almost dead.i think) HAIR.. Saving enough money hopefully to afford a hair treatment..But in d meantime..

As in revive it? Seeing how dead it is now..

i conditioned it with the color condition thing it came with. but my question is, should i also use MY regular shampoo and conditioner now because i am about to take a shower...
