If i didn't wash my hair properly yesterday, should i wash it again today?
I dont wanna wash my hair TOO much just in case i get dandruf.

sunday- i wash my hair using shampoo and using conditioner

mon.&tues.- only water

wednesday- use shampoo and conditioner

thurs.&fri.- only water

saturday- use shampoo and conditioner

is this effective to thin my very thick hair strand?

When I wash my hair and then style it, it's fine, but next day looks a mess.

Can I apply more wax or gel, or do I have to wash it every day?

Usually I just wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week.

Any expert advice please?

i know this sounds crazy but this is why i want to know.
i pulled out a string of hair of mine that felt different then the rest of my hair, thats is long and straight. it feels like a plastic string and its all kinky like. just wondering why its like that.

I have pretty limp hair. I can add a little volume by blow-drying it, but is there any shampoo that will add volume to my hair without me having to blow-dry it? (Don't like blow-drying it because this tends to make my hair dry.)

My sister cut my hair for years, but she's moved away and I'm now going to a fairly upscale salon (at least for my small town). The person cutting my hair is the owner and she charges $40 for a cut and style. How much should I tip her? Do I tip her more if I decide to get color or a perm? Is it based on the amount I'm spending? I would really appreciate an overview, I haven't gone to a hair salon in over 20 years - yikes! Help!

I am a girl and i wanted this particular style done to my hair, but I cant remember what it is called, but I remember what it looks like,
It like when you cut off pieces of the side of your hair, a bit above your side burn, so that it looks like hair, blank space you cut off completely (so its like youre bald for two inches), hair, bald, hair, bald.
I've seen a lot of boys who have done it with their eyebrows, but I've also seen girls who have done it to their hair in pictures.
PLEASE HELP!
if you know what its called, or have any pictures, you would help me sooo much!!!

Hello everyone ^^
I need someone hair do's for school tomorrow. I usually wear my hair down and straight to cover my long waves -_-
I was thinking about wearing that wet curly look but I tried it today and it didn't turn out so good.... I want something that would look nice on long ( past my elbow ) auburn hair. I am not talking about dye and cuts, I mean like messy buns and what not..

What shampoo & conditioner is best for my hair? My hair is very thick (my friends often refer to it as a horse's tail) and wavy. It gets a bit frizzy. Basically though, it's quite healthy, I never straighten or color it...or anything really, I just wash and brush it! I've tried Garnier and I've loved it. I'm just wondering if one of the Herbal Essences is better? My goal isn't to lose my thickness or waves, I just want to maintain smoothness and shine.

I cut my hair myself, and going to a salon and buying salon-only products is out of the question. I don't believe price reflects the quality of a product. So please don't give me a lecture on that.

Also, when answering it would really helpful if you'd stick to the brands & formulas that I've listed rather than suggesting a totally different one.

I am a guy with short brown hair and I want to naturally highlight my hair. I do not want to go to a hairdresser or use commercial products at the store because they contain bleach and ammonia. So what will happen if I pour pure hydrogen peroxide into a squirt bottle and mist my hair with it? Will the peroxide lighten my hair? Will it damage my scalp?
