What shampoo & conditioner is best for my hair? My hair is very thick (my friends often refer to it as a horse's tail) and wavy. It gets a bit frizzy. Basically though, it's quite healthy, I never straighten or color it...or anything really, I just wash and brush it! I've tried Garnier and I've loved it. I'm just wondering if one of the Herbal Essences is better? My goal isn't to lose my thickness or waves, I just want to maintain smoothness and shine.
I cut my hair myself, and going to a salon and buying salon-only products is out of the question. I don't believe price reflects the quality of a product. So please don't give me a lecture on that.
Also, when answering it would really helpful if you'd stick to the brands & formulas that I've listed rather than suggesting a totally different one.
Thank you so much for you time! I really, really appreciate it! ^.^

i've tried herbal essence's hello hyration and garnier fructis' sleek and shine, but havev't tried none of your frizzness. basically u have to try to manage ur main problem, so if u only have a bit of frizz, non of ur frizzness won't really help u. if u don't straighten or color ur hair, then u wouldn't need hello hydration, so that leaves sleek and shine, which is very good, i need deeper treatment though because i've fried and damaged my hair, so the drugstore brands won't really do it for me, but ur lucky cuz u don't really have any major problems. try sleek and shine because it'll give u great shine, makes it very manageable, and smooth and garnier is a very good a trustworthy, yet affordable brand. good luck with ur decision nd hope i helped!

I use Hello Hydration Shampoo And None of your Frizness conditioner and it made my hair heaven!!
they smell great and do what they say they do, my hair is so soft and and I have no more frizz since I started using them.
I even put the none of your frizzness conditioner on my hair before and after I blow dry and it makes my hair absolutley frizz-free, even when I go putside in the wond, rain and humidity. As for Garnier sleek and shine, it didnt work for me at all, it made my hair extremely poofy and not sleek or anything, and its more expensive then the herbal essences. Herbal Essences is amazing because its such great quality and its soo afordable. I totally recommend it :)

You are decscribing my little sisters hairtype exactly. Hello hydration is really good but wont help with frizzies. I love non of your frizziness by herbal essense. It does what it claims without being too heavy. The Garnier was not anything special. I would say go with the Orangish None of your Frizziness.

I would stick to fructis, if it works well on your hair and you like it. But you should buy mini bottles of the other shampoos you're considering and try them out

The absolute best is the new brand called Organix.
It has organic active ingredients, gentle cleansers, and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair...plus, it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!
Check it out!
