I have lots of hair on the chest and back. my friends say that I should remove all. If I do will my girl friend like me.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

I would not remove it from your chest.. now your back maybe if you have like a "full head of hair" back there :)
Really, most girls are not that shallow.

If she is so shallow that she wants you to remove the hair off your body, then she's honestly not worth it. Never do something like that thinking that a girl will like you more if you do it, because they never do. Only do it if YOU want to do it.
BTW, getting it waxed off HURTS LIKE HELL!!! Watch the scene in "What Women Want" where Mel Gibson waxes his leg.......
