Mollie, forget about the word natural, and look for semi permanent, color only, semi color with no peroxide, that color will fade out leaving no damage.so called natural
colors can damage hair it depends what is has in it,so stick with name brand semi permanent.good luck

That all depends on the color that you want to dye it. You could use henna which are natural dyes although that will dye your hair a reddish color (it doesn't come in different colors)

I would not advise you to go blonde if this is what you want. It will wreck your hair and probably go orange. Dying hair blonde bleaches the hair, drying it up completely, and your hair could fall out!

You can buy semi-permenant dyes which will wash out in around 6 weeks. These are the best kinds of dye in my opinion as they don't dry your hair out too much.

But be careful and don't get into the habbit of dying your hair like I did. My hair is so dry now and its a strange color! lol. always leave at least 4 weeks between dyes and use a conditioning treatment every time you wash your hair!

:D

there are some natural ones, but there is also hair color that is semi-permanent, it will was out after either 12 shampoos, or another kind after about 28 shampoos, you can get it in any drug store or wallmart,,, its with the regular hair color and cost less then 10 dollars,,,, perhaps you mom would let you do one of those,, as its gentle, not bleaching, and slowly washes out,,,,,,,,, you wont be able to drastically change your color, but can lightly lighten or darken it
for the temporary color that washes out in one shampoo, or for natural color products, check with a beauty supply store, like Sallys

Anything that they sell in the store is proven safe for you.....as long as it isn't the color orange to go with your bf's green mohawk.... :-)

I like Estee Lauder, they have shades that aren't too out of the ordinary for my hair. I am a dirty blonde, almost brunette, but when it grows out, its blonde. I like going more blonde, even though I tried going redhead once, my son hated it....lol

dyeing never turns out and it doesnt stay that pretty color. if you are going to dye it do it professionaly, or just get subtle highlights.
