Hair - April 2007

Hi Im going on Tuesday to get my hair coloured at the hairdressers. The to see the hair dresser on Tuesday and she said my hair is really damaged she cut it and where trying to get it in better condition before my wedding in July . When I go back next Tuesday the Hairdresser said she will put a dye on it as my hair is not all the same colour as Ive wrecked it from home dyeing which she told me never to do again as this is the reuslt I get. Anyways she said that putting a dye on it will help condtion my hair as well as its a professional on they use at the Salon. But at first she was going to put on a semi, but now she recommends a permenant. Will this still condition my hair as well or will it just be the same. Im confident in her knowing what she is doing. Its just that I have had it dyed at the hair dressers befor and its was a right mess.
Any help or advice you can give me will be a great help.

I am a middle easterern and my hair mostly looks like a dark skin person, but I am not satisfied with my short hair, well I want to grow it and when it does grow, It looks so messy and make my head look bigger . so what should I do? to get rid of it and to make is more straight?

i'm asian and i wanna streak my hair blue n purple. to do that i gotta bleach parts of my dark hair first, then dye. i've got powder bleach,peroxide,toner n colour dye. if u've got experience in bleaching streaks on black hair, plz, spill!!! btw i live in australia, so dont say u gotta buy more stuff from walmart or something.

ok right now my hair reaches up to about my eyebrow i kno its still a little short but i want the ryan sheckler hair style problem is my hair never stays really flat i tried using conditioner and all it does is puff my hair up alot even some shampoos puff it up i just want it to be really flat and straight how the hell can i do this PLZ!!!

I cut and dye my hair often.. but for one year i had decided to grow it and it seemed that it grew only three inches.. i heard prenatals work... but does anyone have proof from experience? I use Biolage shampoo and conditoner.. which has really brought back the health but i dont know why it doesn't grow faster?

My hair right now is quite dull and dry and the fact that it's black sort of makes it look even more dull. I want to restore it but I'm not sure which type of shampoo would be efficient for giving it a shine. Any suggestions?
Oh, and I hear Pantene leaves a coat of wax on your hair. Is this true for all Pantene hair products both shampoo and conditioner? Or is it only Pantene Pro-V?

Alright girls (and guys) i need your assistance. Ive looked on line and i cant find anything. I thought the haircut i was looking for was a shag but i dont think so after seeing some pictures, the haircut i like consist of what looks like layers upon layers.. choppy.. no rhyme or reason layers..it almost resemble something from the eightys with all its layers but i dont know what its called.. if there is a name for it.. i dont know, when i go to the hairdresser id like to have something to reference it to because i cant find a picture.. ugh.. !!!!!!!!!!! i know this is crazy but you know how a sheep dog has wild hair, kinda like that.. i wear a ponytail ALOT . is there anythin i can do wit my ponytail to make it look nicer? also i bought a corioliss straightener for 180 bucks because i like how it curled n straightened . my hair looks nice curly but i cant figure out how to curl with it

Well, I just got my hair cut 4 days ago. All I have done so far, is straighten it. I want some stying ideas that would be ideal for a girl of my age, and style. [I'm 15] and my looks would fall under the category of emo or scene.
