My hair is about 2 inches long, and it is hard to keep it straight, so that I can style it "emo." Any suggestions....

try spiking your hair in the back & then wearing your bangs down in the front...u can use a product like got2b glued rubber spiking cement level 4: pliable screaming hold...just put some on your fingertips & pull it through your hair while twisting at the tips...this product remains pliable for about 10 minutes, giving u time to arrange your hair before it hardens...if necessary, u can finish with got2b glued blasting freeze spray level 4: blasting hold for hair that will absolutely not move...not even if u go through a category 5 hurricane!!!

Oh, and put some grease or something scuzzy in it. Shiny clean hair is anathema to the emo look, you want it to look like you have been crying for 2 weeks straight in your mom's basement after that girl you met at the My Chemical Romance concert stood you up and you have been to depressed to shower since much less wash your hair.

Ok wel first let it grow then get some bangs and spike the bangs with gel or something. and if ure hair is black then itll look even more emo :}

straighten it, it will not only look longer but stay straight.
try using garnier fructis's fiber gum putty, like guys from "emo" bands do, it will hold any style you want.
