A friend of mine said her mom was going bald, someone told her about using dog shampoo, she did for a couple of months and then hair started growing back. Someone else I know uses it also and her hair is shiney and has alot of body to it.

I am extremely confused about my hair color.

People tell me I have dark brown hair but...

1) My hair looks black (maybe a bit lighter.).
2) When I hold my hair up to the light (sun, fluorescent, etc...) I see gold streaks, brown streaks and red streaks.

Am I brunette?

Help, because I can never answer this hair question :)

hey all! i want to get red or pink streaks in my hair, just to change things up a little...i am hesitant to do it at home because i have dark brown hair...can anyon suggest a place in or around the baltimore (maryland) area that does that type of coloring? thanks!!

I want to buy a very good straightener that actually makes your hair stay very flat without not doing as much damage as other bad ones. I have wavy/curly hair of medium length and was thinknig of buying the Sedu. But nayways.....

*Name a good straightener that costs between $15-$40.

*And another one that costs between $40 and $200.

My hair is thick and curly. I always ware it down, cause if I do wair it any other way my head hurts! Even when I wair a headband! How pathetic is that?

Girls and guys, what do you think when you see a girl with short hair? I know this sounds shallow but my hair is ruined with too much bleaching and I'm letting it grow for a few months, then cutting my hair off. I used to straighten my hair but now I let it go back to it's natural waves, but to make it not frizzy I have to use a fair bit of gel or hairspray each day. Is this damaging for my hair? Is it more damaging than the straightening or less damaging?
Also, is sleeping in wet hair at all damaging for your hair?

What would be a good hairstyle for me to get? Right now I have hair right below my shoulders, and side swept bangs. I have a long narrow face shape and very straight hair. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it. I am in my early 20's, so I want a cute young haircut that is fairly easy to do. Thanks for your help! No mullets or mohawks please. :)
