What would be a good hairstyle for me to get? Right now I have hair right below my shoulders, and side swept bangs. I have a long narrow face shape and very straight hair. My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it. I am in my early 20's, so I want a cute young haircut that is fairly easy to do. Thanks for your help! No mullets or mohawks please. :)

Hi, I just got my hair cut into a graduated or stacked bob. My hair was about the length yours is, maybe a little longer. I just had a baby and he started pulling on it, plus I was shedding a lot. Anyway, I did some google searches and found this style to be the most versatile and the most fun. My hair is also fine, too. The cut I got gives my hair a lot of bounce. It's short without looking too short... It's a little bit longer in the front than in the back. I can shower and mousse it, and it looks great. I can straighten it, or use one of those curler/dryer iron things and "wing" it out. No matter what I do, if anything at all, it looks fun and cute. Hope this helps. PS....you might want to get a few highlights just to add some depth and a little more body.

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.
then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......
and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....
you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....
as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!
u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

hope i helped!!! good luck!!!

If u cut your hair fairly short it would go really well with the side bangs and it would be very easy to manage. it would look cute and flirty and perfect for your age!

if you are tired of long hair, and with your hair being fine, maybe you should try something like a layered bob. not too short, no shorter than your jawline, and have your hairdresser razor-finish for a sharp but not too choppy look. if you like your long hair, get some face-shaping layers to try and shorten your face a little bit. the link here opens to a really cute layered look for long face types, and has links to tons of other ideas. good luck, hope you find something you like!
