im a guy. how do i make my hair wind-blown, and make it stay for the rest of the day...without standing in a tornado.

Rub some pomade or gel through your hair before you blow it dry. Push your hair around while blow drying and finish w/ a bit of hair wax to define a few ends.

While your hair is wet put some styling wax in your hair then blow dry it until almost dry. Shake your head and go. Just something to try.

American Crew has a great pomade you could use and later in the day you can still " rearrange " your hair using what you already have in your hair.

hang your head out the car window at about 65 mph and put the gel in before you bring your head back in. that should do it, oh by the way have someone else drive.

blow wet hair dry with a hair dryer then spray with a holding spray.
