Will using toner on your hair damage it? and how much would it be to goto the salon and get your hair toned? thanks.

Toners have only a small amount of ammonia and peroxide. Toners are not as expensive as a full color. Are they re toning their work or your at home work? Do not expect a miracle from a toner. They are designed to get rid of unwanted tones on level 7 and above. (That is dark blond.) If you didn't lift enough you are not going to get what you want. Toners also tend to make things look slightly darker.

Not really! If you want to tone your hair I suggest using Wella color-charm toner which can be found at Sally s for about $6! I ve used it before to get my hair white and it really works without damaging my hair! Much better than the others I find.

No. Toner will not damage your hair but if you have blonde hair at the moment and you bleached it and you want to use toner your hair will turn blue.

ok, if you use the toner alot then it will... but once wont really. umm another good thing to use instead of toner is you use lots and lots of conditioner... thats what my hairdresser said anyways. also it depends which hair salon you go to depends on the prices. chao lol xx

If it is done wrong, then yes it can. Your best bet is too call around to the Salons near you, describe what you want done or even go in since it depends on your length & thickness of your hair. And they'll tell you.
