I am wondering how important it would be to have a web page for a salon which is also a hair restoration place. we get calls from the area, but do you think it would do that much to have a website for people to go and look at. would you feel more comfortable making an apointment if you could look online about it first?

I really didn't know how to word this question, but I just dyed my hair a light brown and I really like the color (I did it at home by myself). I have only dyed my hair a few times before, but I've noticed that after I use the deep conditioner that is included in the box and blow dry it and straighten it with my straightening iron, my hair feels extremely soft and silky. I was just wondering if you can buy the conditioner separately and use it daily? I also noticed that after I straightened my hair it smells great, just like the conditioner, and with my regular shampoo and conditioner it doesn't smell as good after I blow dry/straighten it...it just smells like the straightening iron. Thanks for any replies!

I would like to try buzz cutting my hair. I wish to achieve a uniform look, lower maintenance, higher frequency of haircuts and reduced costs compared with having it done commercially.

I already keep it pretty short (#2 guard on the sides), so it wouldn't be that radical of a transformation to make my hair uniform.

For those that do, what tends to be the best equipment and advice for the job? Thank you.

I had medium brown hair and then I got lighter brown highlights. I'm don't like the highlights anymore and I want to get my hair dyed again so that all of my hair is the same color. In the past, I've gotten my hair colored to get rid of highlights, but the highlights show through. Why is that? Is there a way to get my hair back to it's natural color AND get rid of the highlights?

my hair straightener breaks every month or so and it's a real pain in the ***. i usually just get the cheap $25 straighteners cuz i can't really afford a good one. but anyway i have really thick hair. got any recommendations for an inexpensive and quality hair straightener? thanks.

okay so i died my hair like 2 months ago a really dark brown, and i TOTALLY regret it, im a natural blode, so you can see how that was a mistake. anyways im going to dye it back finally. and im not sure whether i should deep condition then color or color then deep conditioning. from what i have been researching deep conditioning beofre doesnt let chemicals take well, so i think im going to do it after. but my hair is also permed [[another big mistake i made]] so im hoping dying it before coloring wont completly kill my hair, cause its really healthy naturally and i dont wanna lose that, ANY advice well help, please?!?!

I have a thick hair and makes me fed-up about it. It makes me to go for a regular hair-cut. Its kinda wasted coz my hair is short. The matter is that my hair will rise up when my it is dry. So I think after a shower, the water weighs it down.

I just would like to know how to solve this situation either go to salon for blow-drying or chemical straightening or self repair(ceramic hair straightener)?

Really need your help guyz....

My hair hits just below my shoulders and is wavy. I usually straighten my hair or occasionally let it air dry. I almost always wear it down but when I don't, I pull it back in a messy bun. I want to do something that would be cute and easy. Any ideas?

A hairstylist was trimming my hair a few years ago and while she was doing it, she said something like, "Hey Doris, come over here and check out this girl's hair!" When the other woman came, she said, "Look at it, it's so elastic." And I think she started stretching my hair (I couldn't see 'cause they were in the back ) and the other woman said, "Wow..." like she was amazed.

My question is, what were they doing (were they actually stretching it?), what does "elastic" mean, and is this a good or bad thing? How did she discover that my hair was "elastic" And what does this have to do with trimming my hair??

I have thick curly shoulder length hair. I have a Chi Turbo but it takes to long just to use that, so i straighten with a blow dryer and then go over it with the Chi. I have biosilk which i apply afterwards. What else should I use? Something to protect my hair from the heat or to make it nice....

I went to a new hairdresser today because my regular one cancelled on me.
Now When I went in my hair was a little below my shoulder blades, now it barely at my neck. What I noticed was when she was doing my touch-up she pulled the relaxer thoughout your whole hair instead of just my newgrowth.
She said my hair was badly damage and that is why it broke off but I think it had something to do with the way she relaxed it.

I am Black. My hair is breaking and is extremly damaged. Sometimes my hair is sort of fine. I am trying to stop breakage and promote growth and healthy hair, with body. I have a relaxer, but I think that starting breaking my hair in the first place. My hair is constantly just breaking and coming out when I comb it. To grow out the relaxer would be and extremly long and hard and expensive process, that i just dont want to go through.

I really want to get my hair dyed black with blue ends but I don't know how to ask my mom if i can get it done. I thought about doing it behind her back but I would get in alot of trouble! My mom won't even let me get highlights until this summer, how am i going to ask her to let me dye my hair??
