I went to a new hairdresser today because my regular one cancelled on me.
Now When I went in my hair was a little below my shoulder blades, now it barely at my neck. What I noticed was when she was doing my touch-up she pulled the relaxer thoughout your whole hair instead of just my newgrowth.
She said my hair was badly damage and that is why it broke off but I think it had something to do with the way she relaxed it.

...WHAT...
...Oh no honey...now your saying you went in for a relaxer a touh up at that (meaning your hair can handle relaxers becuase you've had them before) and something happened that took your hair out so bad you left with an undesired bob...
...I don't even know what to assume went wrong but I know one thing a "professional" is your security that it will be done right because they should know what they are doing...I thik it couldn't hurt to talk with a manager and see if maybe your hair can be taken care of free of charge until it's restored...I mean come on...and if your hair was badly damaged why put a chemical on it in the first place, then even if it got damaged after the relaxer was applied hello...SHE put it in and she is the professional...thus she made a mistake either way...and every professional knows you don't put the perm on all the hair!!! That is going to damage it...because your over processsing it!!!

It could have been a little of both that caused your hair to break off. I got a perm in my hair last april and some of my broke off then at the roots..and it sucked. I just kept my hair trimmed and conditioned good. there really isnt much you can do about it though, even if it was the hair dressers fault because its what you say against what she says...so try to make the best of it, even though your hair isnt what you wanted it to be.

The relaxer is not supposed to be applied to the permed portion of the hair. She applied it wrong. You might need to wear a protective style (braids) until your hair gets healthy again.
