I need to write an essay to get into hairschool. I'm stuck on paragraph 2! I need to write about career paths in the hair industry, and career advancement.. I need to get this essay finished tonight! Please help .. full points awarded to the best answer!!

there are sooooo many options for this career. you can be a salon stylist, color expert, make-up artist, skin car specialist, you can become a member of your state regulatory agency. other ones include becomming a platform artist (tons of fun!) where you perform the latest cuts, colors, and techniques on stage at trade shows. you can become a product educator, for example you can become a redkin color specialist and travel around to teach classes on product ed. you can become a salon owner, an instructor, a nail technician. some hairstylists even win oscars. you can do so much with a cosmetology education, and your earning potential is unlimited

I'm not quite sure what it is your looking for-but ways I think you advance in the industry is 1. of course to never stop learning. I think that any stylist that thinks they know everything isn't going to go anywhere...everything is always changing and we need to be on top of it.
I think the way to advance yourself is to try new paths. You can take new paths in the way you handle just your insalon business by-advertising in a new way. Hold a meeting with the salon you work and and have ideas how to make things better and new ways to expand..like a website, or special deals or something. another way to advance your career is to take a new path, like I said...for instance: I recently have started to train to become an educator for Paul Mitchell. This not only makes you a little more money on the days you have off from the salon, but it ensures continuing education. The companies pay to have you trained frequently on the new trend lines, and they are always sending you what's new as far as products and color yada yada...well before I write your whole paper for ya..(and I hope I did help and talk some about what your looking for) good luck!
