I have thick curly shoulder length hair. I have a Chi Turbo but it takes to long just to use that, so i straighten with a blow dryer and then go over it with the Chi. I have biosilk which i apply afterwards. What else should I use? Something to protect my hair from the heat or to make it nice....

You should go to a professional salon and ask what they suggest. I personally use Redken Smooth Down because it helps control frizz by protecting the hair from overheating. Chi's are extremely hot, so you should definitely put something in your hair before flat ironing so you don't burn the heck out of your hair! You'll even be able to tell the difference the first time you use something.

Sounds like your doing the right stuff...you could try a moisturizing shampoo(Dove has a good one) or a moisture treatment (Aussie Deep 3 Minute Miracle)...you can get both of these at Wal-Mart

The herbal essence shampoo that says 'straighten up' is awesome and 'Sunsilk straighten up' works so great and you really don't even have to straighten your hair. You just put it in after you take a shower.
