I have wavy hair. Not perfect waves with a little curl, and it's pretty thick. I also have bangs and long hair with lite layers at the bottom. Also, a high forhead
Good ideas? I only have 1, pinned back bangs and two braids.
HELP PLEASE!

Im thinkin for the bangs let it air dry until its almost dry and then pull them down as if you were brushing your hair with your fingers like how salons cut your hair the whole finger thing and that staightens my bangs pretty good. i think the idea of throwing it up messing sounds cute, i know thats what i do when im in a rush, and also is you kinda scrunch it thatll work, the air will deff make it frizz up again if you try starightening it. of theres a blow-dryer, which from no expreinece of a cruise i dunno if there will be, blow dry you hair with a flat brush and itll act as much like a straightener as you can hope for. id dugest only using on your bangs though, cause your there to relax and not have to worry about the rest of the world, if you happen to look cute after throwing it up, then awesome, you can catch all the hotties, but if not, then whatev its your time to have fun, relax and not deal with the nromal **** of everyday life. have fun btw. and i hope i helped a little hun!!

bring Velcro rollers (or a wide diameter round brush) for your bangs, and use the blow dryer in the cabin (yes, there will be one). then, consider using a smoothing cream for wavy hair and go natural (i.e. air dry!). it will be humid on deck anyways, so why waste your vacation time fighting the natural tendencies of your hair? Pantene makes a smoothing cream for curly hair which will help the frizzies from showing up. Also, Garnier Fructis has a balm (in a jar) for curly hair that works well for me.

Seriously, you'll have a better time if you don't put all the effort in only to have it kink up as soon as you hit the fresh air.

Take some gel with you and let your hair air dry. Then use bobby pins and twist back a few section or sweep your bangs to the side and pin it. Also use a pony tail and make a loose messy bun. It'll look cute with a few pieces of wavy hair hanging down.

I have been on plenty of cruises and have always brought my hair straightner and blow dryer. However if you can not bring those, try and find some great hair products like gels and straigting gels, smoothing serum or shine gloss. They should have a blow dryer in your cabin. Also there is this heat brush that is shaped like a straightner that you can find at drug stores, this will help straightner your hair too. Also look for cute hairacscesories. Have fun on your cruise

Try a few:

1) Two buns on the side of the head (cute!)
2) One bun on the back of the head with bangs to one side
3) A ponytail at the nape of the neck, make sure you use gel to keep those curls under control!
4) Try one ponytail but only pull it halfway through so it creates a poof..this has to be done carefully!
5) A bandanna with the point going down your part, it stands out beautifully against curls!

Why can't u bring your straightener? That's weird. If you have a deluxe room, they have blow dryers in the bathrooms. Anyways, load up on the mousse!!!! The sea wind makes your hair all blowy. You could always make a half ponytail. Or put on a headband. (Bold colors always look good, like black or red.) Wash your hair every day.

THere's something in the saltish air that makes your hair gross after even one day of not washing it.

This doesnt make your hair straight, but Garnier Fructis Style curl Construct Mousse is a great product for travel (or any occasion) to create waves w/o frizz.

You don't need to straighten your hair on a cruise anyway. The humidity will ruin it for ya. If you really have to, cruise rooms should have blow-dryers just like hotels.

Use some curl defining cream after you wash your hair.
Scrunch it through your hair and let it air dry, then scrunch some more in.

You could put your hair back in a messy bun or loosely in a pony tail.

Your hair sounds exactly like mine. When I went on my cruise, when I got out of the shower I just wring it out in a towel then use a little gel in it, and then spray it with a little hairspray, then turn your head upside down and "scrunch" it with your hands and let it airdry. It comes out really cute, and its a big timesaver when you can't (or don't want to) dry or straighten your hair.

good luck
