Hair - March 2007

at work we have new wella clippers they are wella xpert and dont understand the grades i have just found out they go by mm and we go by wahl clipper grades 1-8 and wella goes by 4,8,12,16,20mm can any one help me work this one out as i am getting really mad with them as i am used to wahl clippers any hairdressers out there that can help plzzzz

Well, my hair is wavy, thick, and layered. It is to my shoulders and i have no hair styles, because of the short layers i have to wear a headband everyday. Any1 have any ideas? thanks for the help.

I am considering using Loreal Feria after much thought.
Currently Ginger due to messed up hair dye first time.
Can anyone tell me if the feria is any good? I am looking to get rid of the ginger with a blonde feria colour.

When I was in college (about 11 years ago) Schwartzkopf had a shampoo that was in an orange bottle (tall skinny bottle with small flip up nozzle). It smelled absolutely fantastic. It was heavily scented. It smelled almost like the Brilliant Brunette shampoos but a little more fragrant. I cannot find this anywhere, I'm sure it's discontinued but what the heck was the name of it?? Was it the old bonacure? Can someone help me??

I went to the dermatologist because my hair had gotten extremly thin, and they ran blood test and put my hair under the microscope and simply put using the professional oven and metal flat iron I was burning my hair. I've since bought an electric/ceramic flat iron so the temperature can be regulated and started taking NIOXIN, iron & calcium. I've also began deep conditioning. How long should it take before I get the thickness back and the NIOXIN begins to work. Also any other suggestions very welcome. Thanks.

Well the thing is that all my life I have had very light ginger // brown hair. I would love 2 dye my hair black, you no like .. Chaz Dingle from emmerdale. Something like that! What is the process to make it go back to the original color?

I have bra strap length hair with layers, medium thin hair. It still has decent elasticity minus the split ends which are due for a trim. I have been dyeing it for 2 and 1/2 years and I am sick of having to dye my hair every month just to keep it from turning orange. Please help

My bangs like to go sideways and not against my forehead like I want them to. I have very curly hair because I am half black. Even if I straighten them with my straightening iron to stay down, they are poofed at the roots and it looks really stupid. HELP ME!

I really want a new way to wear my hair for a change! I want to wear it as something a bit different! I have long straight dark brown / black hair, and i either wear it down, in a ponytail, as a messy bun, or pigtails.
