Hair - March 2007

It's not exactly prom, but kind of the same idea. No dancing, I think. But anyway ... my dress is floor length, black, and has pink trimming, sort of. Spaghetti strap, but it has this shawl thing that is half black and half pink. I have kind of a round face, and medium length layered brown hair. How should I do makeup and hair, especially?

I've got TONS of really curly hair that looks alright down, kind of nappy. My hair is very mosturized/ healthy. I need styles to wear everday to school and one for the dance tommorow would be helpful. I can't do braids because my hair does not hold them. I also can't do buns or side ponys. Please don't reccomend straightening my hair. I really love my curls and don't want to damage them.

I have naturally curly hair that's short with naturally curly extensions, so this makes it about a little past shoulder length. I can only use a natural bristle brush to style and any type of heat. The extensions are somewhat stringy and thin because I have no hair to fill them out except on top to my ears. I was told the Caruso rollers work well. Do these damage your hair? Can I use every other day or how? OR, let me know how you style your hair each day and why? Thanks for the help.

I have thick curly hair and have never dyed my hair so I need advice. My hair is naturally dirty blonde but in the winter it gets a lot darker and I want to lighten it. Should I dye it all over or get highlights? What is the average price for each? Also, where can I go so I know they know how to work with curly hair b/c not every place does.

I heard you can curl your hair if youwrap your hair around the straightener then slide it down in a curling motion. Does this work. do u have other techniques to curling with a flat iron. Maybe a homemade solution to get curly hair.

hey, i got a good quistion. How come everytime I get out of the shower, my hair get's all frizzy and sticks up like i have static?

aaaaand, what's a good way to stop this, to wear it's silky smooth, and doesn't get all frizzy when i get out of the shower?

I have long really straight hair and it has no body what so ever. if i leave my hair long, it looks oily by noon and i shower in the morning..its so frustrating and gross!! but ive always had somewhat long hair and im kind of hesitant about cutting it off. I'm thinking about either getting a body perm in my long hair to add some volume or else cutting my hair a little shorter. what do you think? any suggestions would be great! my hair now is about to my bra strap in the back...if you were to cut is short, how short would you go? thanks!
