I have thick, thick, thick shoulder length hair. It has so much volume and it very wavy. Okay, I LOVE my hair, but I can't stand walking around looking like Hermione Granger (in the firsted movie) everyday!

I want to be able to have my hair short and long when I feel like it. I've heard that it's possible to have your own hair made into extensions so that it matches perfectly and then you can take them in and out whenever you want. Is this true? How much would it cost and how would I set about doing it?

I know that fusion is supposedly fused to the individual strands of the hair by wax, and that sew in weaves are sewed into braids. What I really want to know is that with either method will it break your own hair off. My hair is alittle past my shoulders and it took me a long time to grow my hair out from previous damage and I just want to try something new, but not at the cost of my own hair. What is the process of getting fusion off of your hair? How long will they last? What is the average price for both procedures? What hair is the best kind of hair to buy? Keep in mind that I am a black woman! I want the look to be like Tyra Banks or Beyonce. I don't and can't have perms in my originial hair, will that interfere with either process? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. I live in Norfolk Virginia so if there are some good shops here that someone might know about please let me know.

OkAY SO i likE MY hAiR PiN StRAiGHt,MY hAiR iS REAllY WAVY bY tHE WAY. I USEd EVERYthiNG(like shampoos) i used the straight shampoo from what ever its called the hairapee thing and dangerous straight from herble enesses and what products should i use on my hair before i straighten it so my hair wont get ruined...and what should i use to my hair not as frizzy....ITS SUPER FRIZZY and that frizz stuff from hairapie doesnt work

My hair is really pretty and smooth after i straigten, except for the ends. The ends look really bad. I just got my haircut today, so its not because of split ends. I always use moisturizing conditioner in the shower and leave in conditioner afterwards, so its not because my hair is dry. When i straighten my hair, i always use a specail flat iron protector spray stuff. And afterwards the ends look really bad, even though i am very careful. Then i put some hair silk drops on the ends, and it helps a little, but it still isn't like i want it. So please tell me what i am doing wrong, or what products i can buy to make the ends look good. Oh yeah....nothing too expensive, and please be specific. THANKS A BUNCH!!!

Okay, I've looked at all these other questions about eyebrows but most of them are from 6mos.-1 year ago. I need to know what is good for growing eyebrows. I never pluck or tweeze but my eyebrows are short. I've heard of Anastasia Nu Brow, Talika Eyebrow Lipocils (Eyebrow Growth) which many say don't work, but overall they don't work. I need people using a product only respond or only those that have tried castrol oil to respond. Again, I do not pluck, tweeze, or shave. I just want to grow them longer. I want to go from black to blonde, got no money to go to a salon... so this was my plan;
I'm thinking bleaching my hair. I know it will go a horrible orangy/yellow colour.
Wait 1 week, wearing a hat all week of course.
Bleach it again, Then leave it a week.
By the Garneir (sp) live platnium blonde. & in between each week condition like crazy!

what you's all think? Better than doing it 3 times in a space of a week?

Is it possible to perm hair that is more than half way down my back?... My Aunt who is a hair dresser said that you cant because it wouldnt hold the curl ??? And i dont want to put short layers in.. maybe long ones.. but NO short ones.. I want a spiral perm.. the kind that has the cute little curls.. however.. will my hair get frizzy? can someone give me advice? thanksss!!
