I want my hair to be straight, but not take me an hour in the morning. Should i straighten and blow dry my hair before i go to bed? Or should i just blow dry it? Or just air dry it?

If you have any wave to your hair at all, chances are your hair will kink up a bit during the night. The best way to remove the problem of bedhead (and, incidentally, wrinkles) is to buy a satin pillowcase. It doesn't pull at skin and hair like cloth pillowcases, so you end up with pretty much the same look you went to bed with. That probably won't help you tonight, so I guess I suggest getting it as straight as possible tonight, but plan on doing a retouch tomorrow. At least that won't require as much time and effort as starting from scratch.

If you wear your hair straight a lot, buy a flat iron.

Blow-drying your hair straight and then sleeping on it will only cause it to be messed up by morning and you will only have to do it again.

Buy a flat iron. You can flat iron your hair and it will last for days. You may have to do a few touch-ups but in the long run it'll save you a lot of time.

I hope this helps...I air dry my hair and then use a chi iron. I sleep with mine. I actually keep it straight for a couple of days before washing it again. My hair gets really dry if you wash it to much.

a million. Straighten your hair at night. 2. Wrap a silk fabric or headscarf around your hair. 3. in case you hair isn't as promptly interior the morning spray some water on it then brush it out. Or in case you could straighten in simple terms the aspects which could be slightly extra promptly.

Straightening before bed works for my sister's friend who has very thick very wavy hair. It may have a few teensy waves when you wake up, but not bad.

I don't know about you but when I wake up in the morning my hair is always sticking up. It doesn't matter how nice it looks when I go to bed! Everyone's hair is different but I know it wouldn't work for me.
