I'd say use a round brush when blow drying your hair. then iron your hair to get a really straight, nice finish to it. But i just use flat iron.

You can use hair straightener and i sugest you use ceramic flat iron because they do less damage to your hair. Use the usual chemicals you use to straighten your hair to avoid you hair of getting dry.

theres actually lots of ceramic hair straightener that are cheap. But i suggest Don't buy the cheapest because you can never tell thyer gonna last very long. I bought one two years ago for fifty bucks and It still works pretty good.

Get a Conair I have one of those right now you can get it in Wal-Mart or Target mine cost $40 dollars but some are $20 or more it depends which one you get.

When you're going to straighten your hair wait till its completely dry cuz if u do it with wet hair it will fry. Use heat protectant. Straighten it by putting into sections the smaller the sections the better it will straighten and it will be frizzless. You can finish it by using a shine spray.

If your hair is frizzy or puffy buy John Frieda frizz-ease products they work really well and are not expensive.

You answered your own question :) I use a hair straightener and it does wonders for my hair. Just section it off in layers from bottom to top. Starting with the bottom layer, straighten 1 1/2 inch sections accross each layer and then move up to the next. It can fry the ends of your hair, so I try and keep up with hair trims and keep a moisturizing conditioner on hand.

As for the price, I think I only spent $15 or so at Target. They range from inexpensive to very expensive.

If your hair is really thick and curly like mine, then I suggest you invest in a really good ceramic hair straightener from a salon. It's expensive, but worth it. I had mine for about 5 years and it still works great :)

Buying a cheap one is good if you only have wavy hair. I bought the cheap kind and it took hours to get it straight. While, with the quality one, it only takes about 15-20 minutes.

I purchased a Wet 2 Straight hot iron from Kohls for $20 and it straightens my thick hard to straighten hair better than any shampoo, hot iron, or hairbrush could. It really amazes me how well it works. It's super cheap and you use it on soaking wet to damp hair. I feel the more wet your hair the better. When you run this through, the steam from your wet hair comes out of the top of the iron and you are left with dry and pin straight hair.

I dont know your hair type, but for my hair I use a good conditioner from Nexus, Aveda, or Paul Mitchell If your using heat, you have to use good products. I towel dry my hair until it's damp, then spray it with a light oil sheen to protect it from the heat and frizzes. Before blow drying, I make sure my hair is damp, and not wet. Dry the roots of your hair first, then section off your hair in 4 sections. It's best to start with the back. Start drying using a flat brush, then ending the section with a large round brush, twirling the ends for smoothness. If your desire is for even straighter hair, try using a ceramic flat iron, but be careful...those get very hot. You don't want to burn your hair.

I know that the ceramic pro works really well, but they suck and won't even last you one year. But the maxi glide works just as good for about $140. Compared to the ceramic pro which is about $200.

you can get a cheap hair flat iron but check for reviews on it before you buy it or you can get a round brush and blow it out if you or someone you know knows how to do it =)
