the 4 is slightly longer than a regular #1=1/8"
the 8mm is between a #2 =1/4"&3/8'
12mm is roughly a #4 = 1/2"
16mm is a #5 =5/8"
20mm is a #6= 3/4"
You can use the shorter guide and use the lever to make it slightly longer of a cut
