Hair - March 2007

I want to grow out my hair as quickly as possible and I want tips to help me do this.

I already cut all the damaged ends off and I'm ready for my hair to start growing...

One more thing, do hair extensions damage hair?

i mean its like a bubble shape hair style at your head

It's an average salon...not upscale but not a supercuts either. What do you usually tip? I don't want to be stingy but I'm on a real tight budget and don't wanna give too much either.

I'm a 16 year old boy, and it's been like a month since I was straightening my hair with a hair straightener almost every three days - That's making it straight. So, is it dangerous for guys like us and does it really cause hair loss and damage. And finally, if it does any harm, are there any ways to protect the hair or something as tips and advices, thanks.

Most white, asian and hispanic women have straight, wavy or curly. I never seen any of these races have nappy hair. Yes, I am AWARE that some latinos can have nappy hair but it is only because they are MIXED WITH BLACK.I am also aware that blacks can have WAVY OR CURLY HAIR BUT OVERALL, NAPPY/KINKY TEXTURE IS MOSTLY SEEN IN BLACKS. How come we are the ONLY ONES WITH THIS NAPPY TEXTURE?

I have long hair and it is in good condition but i do have to get it dyed every 6 weeks.Since the last time i got it done it seems like loads of little hairs are springing up from my scalp (as if theres static).I use straightneners every day but not up the full length of my hair.Serum doesnt hep either.Help

I was getting my hair relaxed professionally, but then I tried retouching it at home myself. I only applied it to the new growth, which felt fine. But the hair that had already been relaxed felt awful when I neutralized.
Are there different brand or types of relaxers that react badly when used together?
