Its past my sholders and i want to cut it where i have some bangs that look good with curly hair and striaght what should i do? i was thinking layers.

I would keep most of the length..else when you wear it curly it may loook a little odd.
Choppy layers that help the curl sit randomly would look nice...a natural look. This would look nice straight also giving the hair texture.
A side fringe?
They're very flattering.

Have long layers cut, it means they are closer in length then traditional layers but it will help your hair from poofing up more when it's curly. I have curly hair too and I got a horrible hair cut once when they cut the top layer too short and I could literally pull back the under-layers and leave the top one down and it would look like my hair was that short because it was sooo frizzy.

If you want it a certain length I would do it just a little longer than you want it because curly hair kinks up the shorter it is. I would do your bangs the same way. If you get layers be sure and get long ones and not real short.

i have the same type of hair and i got bangs also. They were great for a few weeks but it became a hassle straightening it everyday and people kept cutting it when i went to the hair place. now i have to clip it back and after about 6 months its still short but i can wear my hair down without clipping my bangs back... but a lot of gel is needed, haha. so i'd suggest that you shouldnt get bangs. as for layers you shouldnt get extreme layers. ask for really really close together layers, . but farrah faucet layers: bad idea unless you have time to straighten your hair each morning

maybe you can ask an expert in hairstyling..but if you would ask me its better not to put a bangs coz your hair is curly..only straight hair looks good with a bangs..

first of all curly hair n bangs don go...n curly hair luks neat wen short.......trust me on dis....curly hari n long..ekksss.. too messy....betta off wit dah hair..
