10%? 15%? 20%?
It's an average salon...not upscale but not a supercuts either. What do you usually tip? I don't want to be stingy but I'm on a real tight budget and don't wanna give too much either.

15%-20% is customary - just like you would for any other service professional (waitress, etc.). The type of salon does not affect the tip; the tip would be smaller if the price was less.

Ive always heard that you dont tip the salon proprietor. in spite of the undeniable fact that, I always tip in accordance to service. options you, Im no longer a really beneficiant tipper, yet I do tip, even even if that's the owner. If all else fails, basically asks on the salon. Who more beneficial useful to respond to your question?!

Typically I would tip 15%. If he/she did an outstanding job on your hair - or if it was a special occasion (like a wedding or prom) I would tip 20%. If the person you see is the owner of the salon - I don't tip because this person gets the $$$ anyway.

I normally just give 10% or something just give £1 etc if ive not got much money so thats about $2.
Depends on how much money you have and how good the job they did was.

You dont have to give any thou if you dont want to!!!!

Pull back on her shoulders, while somebody else lifts up on the top of her shoes. Continue until she is tipped as far as you want. You should never go more than 50%, because it might scare her. If you're a guy and the other person is a guy NEVER go more than 20% off the vertical, because she might think she is about to be raped, or something.
