I've done it before and it didn't come out completely even, but I'm okay with that. I'm very tempted to do it, but now I'm over-thinking it. It wouldn't be a drastic cut. It's already pretty short, but it's starting to look mullet-y with how much the back has grown out.

My hair is long & dark. I am outside or in non airconditioned areas much of my work day, and need to keep my hair off my face & neck. The old ponytail in the scruncie just doesn't work anymore! Any ideas for updos that are casual, but neat and professional looking? Thank you!

I've heard that you're not supposed to wash your hair right before you color it, rather washing it the night before is reccomended. Is this true? I was way too tired to do it last night, but it really needs it now. Should I go ahead and wash it, or am I better off just going in with dirty hair???

I used to use Herbal essences 2 minute treatment but they don't make it anymore here! My hair is down to my butt so I need something else to put on after conditionner in order to prevent too many split ends. It needs to be something I can find an England and not pantene (because that stuff destroys hair).
Thanks!

the under layer of my hair is sooo curly, i love it. Unfortunatley the top layer is very staight. Quite stupid huh? I don't want a perm. A kinky type iron looked dumb since my under curls are "curls",not kinks, I just recently tried the three barrel waver by vidal sassoon. I seriously thought it would work great. NOT! It barely added even waves. There's a round barrel curling iron that has some spiral looking thing to it, excuse my description,I've never tried that one yet but it doesn't look like it would be any different than just wrapping the hair around a regular curling iron. Have you tried one? ANY COMMENTS ON IT? Those heated spoungy types rods were a complete joke, and curlers aren't the answer because I want curls when i want them, not the next morning. Any comments? P.S. I already do all of the other tricks, (defuiser, mouse etc. they work Great for the part of my ahir that's already curly)

I want as much detail as possible. Do you know what chemicals they use? How much does it cost for slightly past shoulder length hair? How long would it take? My hair is in really good shape according to my hair stylist. The only bad thing about my hair is the split ends that come from flat ironing it daily. If you can answer any of these questions or another relevent question it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

PS. PLEASE, DO NOT TELL ME TO LEARAN TO LIVE WITH MY CURLS. I HATE THEM, AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE.... :D

im fair (my foundation is my cover girl its natural ivory if that helps some and it plends in great). my eye color changes from hazel to brown but most of the time if u think of a circle the rim is green the middle is like a golden or yellow, and the inner most rim around the puple is brown... my natural color is like a light brown and it would turn golden blonde in the summer. when ever i go onto google and search for the best hair color they say my skin color is cool and my eye color is warm so im so confused. please help me.

I've always been naturally blonde, but in my early twenties my hair started to darken naturally to a darker, mousy, dirty dishwater blonde. Not pretty. So I've been colouring back to my natural light golden blonde for several years. The last time I visited my hairdresser, she used bleach for the first time and it ruined my hair and it looks 20 times worse than when I was colouring it myself from a box. I think blonde definitely suits my complexion and my brows are golden blonde, but I am afraid that continuing with the blonde is just too damaging- my hair is literally like straw and the irony is, the only way I can make it look good and smooth is by blow-drying and using a fat-iron, ultimately causing more damage!

I have a medium to pale peachy/pink complexion and greenish blue eyes. Can I, and should I, go brunette, and if so, how dark and what shade? (If it helps, cooler shades of blonde always got me more compliments).
