I want as much detail as possible. Do you know what chemicals they use? How much does it cost for slightly past shoulder length hair? How long would it take? My hair is in really good shape according to my hair stylist. The only bad thing about my hair is the split ends that come from flat ironing it daily. If you can answer any of these questions or another relevent question it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

PS. PLEASE, DO NOT TELL ME TO LEARAN TO LIVE WITH MY CURLS. I HATE THEM, AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE.... :D

I tried chemical straightening and there is a lot of maintenance. Now I wash and go. I dont even have a comb. My fingers do the job

Hair high quality is genetic and on a daily basis supplements and water may also outcome the usual of hair. That being suggested the more beneficial warmth it truly is utilized the better the opportunity of damage, the quantity of damage can variety from human being to human being. making use of a sturdy moisturizing S & C and blending it with a conditioning mask once per week might want to help reduce the damage. also scaling down the quantity of blow drying or straightening might want to do a similar issue. If straightening towel dry or enable to air dry. do not brush at the same time as moist. also a sturdy blow dryer and a accurate high quality straightener (i love my CHI) can shrink down on damage. Over drying hair may also reason damage. ordinary trims can help eliminate any damaged hair. I straighten my hair about 4-5 circumstances per week yet I not in any respect blow dry my hair, I wash the evening earlier and enable it air dry. My hair stylist says I even do not have any complications and it feels silky once you contact it.

I know you asked me not to say this but i have extremely curly and very thivk hair i used to be able to sit on it I got it straitened and then I had to cut it the curly was growing out and it was just a mess (when I got it straitened it was still puffy) now i really miss my hair and can't wait for it to grow back
But if you must you should know it took 6 hours for me to get my hair straighened but it will probably take a little more than half that time for you. it was I think 150 to get it done professionally but that was a discount

Please don't do it!

It is my understanding from my girls that you get split ends when using a flat iron when you don't put products on your hair to protect it. Something like Thermal Care...or products that reduce frizz.
***Paul Brown Stay Straight Anti-frizz Smoothing Balm naturally controls frizz, and can also be used with blow dryer to straighten and smooth waves and curls. Penetrates hair shaft to restore hair to a healthier, frizz-free condition.***

Paul Brown Thermal Straightening System - My stylist did this to me twice and I loved it.

it's not really bad for your hair, i've been doing it for years and i had the same problem as you. i had ridiculous out of control curls and waves. it makes my hair softer and gets rid of any frizz . it won't fix split ends, you have to trim those off. i use 4 different kinds of conditioners to strengthen my hair against breakage and damage like that. idk how much a salon job costs cuz my aunt is a salon stylist and i get it at cost for like $60. the one thing i don't like is that it makes your hair smell disgusting for 5-8 days and you can't get it wet for 2-3 days afterwards. other than that, its great! it lasts until your hair grows out too

its really bad for your hair. i never did it, but it has a whole lot of chemicals in it. i would say to stick with straighting your hair with and straightner. it causes less damage. and for the split ends, they have alot of shampoos for it
