Hair - March 2007

I have made the mistake of blow-drying my hair, and straightening it everyday. It is all dry and a big frizz ball! Also, I live in AZ so the heat doesn't help. I have tried buying all the hydrating shampoos and conditioners they advertize on tv but none seem to be working!!! What is the best shampoo and/or conditioner to use?

I have not wavy but not curly hair that will NOT straighten. Its sourta bushy too. Right now I am wearing it carry underwood style, but thats getting old. If you reccomoend a straightener, PLZ put the price!

Hi, I have really bad facial hair, ie under my chin, and side burns... what should i do? i know shaving will cause it to be awful like a mans, and waxing isnt good for the face either. i dont want to bleach, i just want to REMOVE them! i heard electroylsis is painful and expensive and doesnt even work all the time, have 2 have repeated procedures etc... what about the hair laser removal? anybody tried that? does it hurt, and does it work? will the hair grow back thicker and u have to have lots of sessions to get rid of it completely? thanks.

I use a CHI ceramic straightener everytime I wash, blow-dry my hair, which is about every 2-3 days.

I know straightening is bad for your hair, since if gives you more split-ends and will fry your hair. That's why I want to know if there is a cream, gel, spray, or serum that can protect my hair from the sun (summer is coming up) and my straigtener.

I have straight hair (without using straightener) with my hair sticking outwards due to my father's curly hair genetics. I have dark brown or black and fine hair.

Best answer will need one or more products, your experience with it, the price (you can estimate about), and where you can buy it.
