I have been styling my hair now for the past 3 years or so with sports hold gel and a hairdryer because i have coarse hair. But i was wondering how i could style my hair and make it stay but not have it all hard, very wet looking, and "heavy" with gel.

what is the best hair products i should use for my short really curly hair?right now i use herbal essence shampoo then put some stay in conditioner beach head thing thats from garnier fruites (idk spelling) i dont blow dry it. it always gets frizzy what am i doing wrong?

soooo...i have a hair appointment this saturday and i still can't decide what i want to do with my hair. blonde highlights or go back to my natural brown. i have a baby so i never get around to going to get new highlights when my roots are showing. right now i have some blonde highlight on top and about and inch or two brown roots. been trying to go get my hair done for the past two months but never have the time or run out of money when it comes to it. but i love blonde highlights and it is fixing to be summer so that makes me want to go get blonde. higlights are more expensive. and one all over color is cheaper. should i just go back to brown and leave it alone.? i just can't decide. help?

Theres a girl that im friends with and shes having a sleepover for her birthday, its all girls and me, they want to "doll me up" as she put it...should i let them, and is there anything i shouldnt let them put on me, like stuff that is hard to come off. I have shoulder length hair with bangs to the tip of my nose about, and a square face. my hair is pretty thin, and I wear it straight almost every day and it gets soo boring! if i wear it plain after i shower it gets frizzy becuase it's over-processed.. i just want a really cute simple and fast hairstyle for school and shopping tomorrow!

My hair is wavy and i want to get it relaxed at a salon. Will it damage my hair? How long could it stay? Can I dye it after relaxing?? How long will it last?? I really want to try straight hair but i don't know how good relaxing will work for me. I can't get up every day and use a straightener!!!

my hair is soo dry! i bought hello hydration and use leave in conditioners and everything! how come nothing works?!?!? well oculd u please tell me something that would help it please, it sucks because when i straighten it it gets all nasty and dry and looses color and yes i use a heat protector spray,or a cream!

I'm black. (My parents are from Trinidad and my parents are from India).I have what they call 'good hair', but its not straight enough to leave out all day without straightening. I don't have a perm, so my hair is natural I usually have my mom braid it every week in cute hairstyles, but it gets boring. I don't want a perm, but what can I do with my hair. I've looked up natural hairstyles, but they keep showing me all these weird afro styles, but my hair is too long to style that way. Any suggestions?

i got a perm in may of 06',about a month or so after that i dyed my hair black(my natural is almost black) I have tried to do another perm(about 6 months or more after the first one) because the first perm didnt have the curls i wanted(too small),so I tried for larger curls,but after trying 3 times,(luckily with test strands)and my hair turned orange(no success) i gave up.Now I just dyed my hair a spice color and all that took effect were my bangs,and top part of my hair and some parts IN between. Why is this happening? I never had any trouble in the past with perming nor coloring till I got the perm in may.
