i do not know if they still make it but johnson and johnson has a product called no more tangles. It is for children but when I had long hair a few years back I always used it and it worked great

Biolage makes a nice detangler. Any spray on detanglers have always worked well for me...even the ones for kids.

specific, there is not any longer something extra appropriate than cowboys magic detangler. you only practice purely a splash and the snarles and knots only come suitable out. that's the only right stuff ever. you may get it from any tack shop - on line or community shops. only right stuff ever. i've got performed around with hand-crafted treatments like WD-40 and toddler oil - yet no longer something works like cowboys magic. practice Sheen works nicely for the hair on the physique to make it mushy and fairly, yet would not get out the knots and snarles. as quickly as the hair is brushed, practice sheen makes it mushy and glossy - yet would not even come on the edge of the goodness of cowboy's magic! Take care!

don't waste your money. get a good haircut and then use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. there are alot of good brands, but i prefer Pureology (worth the $$ and found in salons).
don't brush your hair -use a wide toothed comb- and keep it pulled up when it's windy. comb the conditioner thru your hair in the shower before you rinse.
