In the early 90's, my uncle wanted to put color streaks in his hair. He used food coloring. I don't remember it lasting long. There are all different kinds of food coloring-Liquid-paste. You can make whatever color you want. You can make it dark or light. What color are you wanting?

Ha ha ha. Dying your hair with Koolaid does work. I used grape koolaid to dye purple streaks in my hair. It smells good too. I dumped the koolaid into a small bowl with just a little bit of water, like 1/2 cup. Then I used a brush to paint just strips of my hair. The Koolaid will stain everything, so be careful about getting it on your skin, or anything else for that matter. I don't remeber how long I left it in my hair before rinsing though, sorry. It didn't last very long either. I think the color had pretty much washed out by a week and a half. Good Luck! ;)

The color fo your hair only matters to if its going to stick in there. My best friend done this when we were 12 or 13. We just put the koolaid in a small amount of water...just enough to put over your hair. then you can dip your hair into it and let it soak in. Then wash...but most likely it will look like sht, because spots wont be covered. Although I never seen anyone try it...maybe try squirting some hair conditioner into a big bowl....enough to throughly coat your hair (maybe 5x what u normally use) and dump the koolaid into it then use just a little bit of water and miss it up...I think this might cover your hair a little better and hold the color on longer before u wash it out. I would wash it out in 20 minutes! good luck

nicely, koolaid isn't the perfect selection for death hair. It in no way comes out. You the two could die over it or in basic terms permit it improve out and cut back it. i might circulate forward and in basic terms spring for the hair dye. it is plenty extra less expensive than having to circulate to a consultant and get it achieved.

um, i'm not sure. but, koolaid shouldn't last too long, if you mess up or don't care for it.
