KeraCare products are really good. I use it on my hair (Latina) and my two daughters (racially mixed with African American and one of which has a relaxer). We basically have 3 different hair textures and KeraCare is the best I've used. I recently tried the Conditioning Creme Hairdress (8oz for $17.00) and I love it! We use KeraCare shampoo and conditioner ( Humecto Creme Conditioner, specifically$13). Pantene Pro V shampoo also works well with KeraCare conditioner. Dudley also makes some good products (they are a little bit cheaper than KeraCare but I just don't like the smell of some of them. If you flat iron your hair or use a comb attachment for your hairdryer, use some Dudley Creme Press (pressing oil, about $8 and doesn't have much of a scent). I have been such a product junkie over the years so I've tried tons of hair supplies and I find these work the best for my family, especially since we all have 3 different grades of hair and I've been happy with the results. Mizani is also a great product (it is expensive too unfortunately). Their hairspray doesn't get hard and leaves no flakes behind. Their Silk Finishing Gel is really nice, it's $12 and doesn't get hard like conventional gels, it is silky but lays the hair down.. These are products predominantly used by women of color. Hope this helped you.

Try L`oreal Sham. & Con. for the type of hair problem you want to fix (damaged, thinning...etc) or the Garnier Fructis line. It smells really good. Also try Africa's Best Hair Mayonaisse, this is excellent for deep conditioning.. it makes your hair soft and mends split ends and promotes growth. After you wash your hair grease scalp once with Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Oil (apply lightly). You don't want to apply too much because grease weighs hair down if alot is being added and attracts dust. You also may want to alternate hair products too, when hair products are used frequently, they don't have the same effect after a while because your hair is used to it.... so I also recommend the Profectiv Mega growth hair pomade . You can substitute for the Carrot oil. Have great lengths!
PS... Reduce heat that you use (irons, blow dryers) and use roller sets and blow roots only and wrap hair for the other days.

Shampoos:
Tresemme
Creme of Nature
Isoplus
Soft & Beautiful
Conditioners:
Infusium 23
Hair 911
Motions CPR
Soft & Beautiful - Silk and smooth
Grease:
**Motions has a really light hair dressing grease that I'd recommend. I use maybe once or twice a week.
**I also suggest "Liv" comes in a white jar with red writing. I use this at night to oil and massage my scalp. I do this about
every other night.
**another old favorite is "blue magic".....it gets the job done.

Grease isn't a good product on hair, it clogs the folicles and can retard hair growth, anything with petroleum and mineral oil in it are bad for the hair... My favorite products are Creme of Nature shampoos and conditioners and Paves Un-Damaged Goods conditioning milk conditioner. My favorite moisturizer is a water based oil lotion by Profectiv, I also love Hollywood Beauty creams and oils. If you don't wash your hair everyday you shouldn't pile on moisturizer on it every night, it'll clog the pores and weigh down the hair. I love natural oils like olive and almond, or safflower and canola, mixed in with a little rosemary which has been proven to increase circulation in the folicles and aide in hair growth.

Creme of Nature Shampoo & Conditioner is a great product. I use that for my hair, and I'm all natural. It's a great detangler, and it's mild enough for daily usage if you want to shampoo your hair that often.
I don't use grease, instead I use Queen Helene's Jojoba Hot Oil treatment to mosturize my hair, and it helps with split breakage.

it depends on what type of hair you have. I'm black and i just buy nexxus. It says it's for white people, but it works great on my hair and keeps it soft. But don't use it more than once a week cuz it'll break your hair off! and make sure that you use a conditoner. also my sister has a relaxer and she uses Motions. it doesn't work as good on me (i have natural hair) so i only use the conditoner. Also i use ultra-sheen on my scalp. but not everynight or else it builds up. Hope this helps!!

Don't laugh, but my favorite "grease" of any kind is good old-fashioned olive oil. I use it on my skin AND my hair and scalp (and I even cook with it on occasion). Anything that you put ON your body is absorbed into your body -- olive oil doesn't have all those extra chemicals and gunk that other products have, and it's actually good for you.
