okay so a week ago i went to the drug store and wanted to lighten my hair ( which is darkish brown) with loreals hilift browns-- it on ly lightened a little bit then i bought another kit and did it last night and left it in for longer hoping for it to come out lighter and it turned darker :( what is recommended- store bought kits to lighten my hair ... i dont want anything too drastic and i dont want my hair to turn orange or red althought those are my undertones in my hair...im looking for a nice caramel color

My hair feels rough and dry. It takes me awhile to make it look nice. On saturday the guy really messed up my hair by dying it pink and blondish white! So, Monday I went somewhere else and they fixed it but had to re dye it, some normal blone and some normal red. The hairstylist told me to purchase "Enjoy" Hair Mask. I mixed this in with Olive oil as well. Any other suggestions?!! Please help me.

my hair is about four inches past the top on my shoulders. it's a little thicker then i would like, and it's slightly poofy, frizzy, and like a triangle. (thats mostly only on the day i wash it. i mean it does that afterwords.) anyway, it's the ends that are the most frizzt and poofy. so, should i get it cut to my shoulders? or should i try the shampoo stuff that supposidly fix's split ends?

I have very wiry thick hair that tends to curl too. I use friz -ease serum / Worthington etc etc to make it curly rather than fluffly/ wild.

However, I wondered if anyone could recommend a style that makes best use of the curls but does not look bulky or thick.

Any web sites of suitable styles or advice?

Once I straighten my hair it stays nice and striaght but then throughout the day it begins to get frizzy and puffy. It really bugs me! How can I keep my hair looking straight all day?

I'm going to a show this week and my hair is definately NOT concert-worthy... The roots are a nice ash blonde but a few inches down my hair is damaged and a brassy blonde.

I'm going to be seeing a lot of my old friends and I want to make a statement.. not anything TOO dramatic but I'm wondering if there is something I can do to my hair without farther damaging it..?

The concert is a rock concert but I don't really want to dye my hair bright blue or anything... HELP! and thanks for any ideas =)

hi everyone! :)
ok, i have a nice long length, with layers, (past shoulder blade), and i have slight brown highlights in my hair...before having this ive had:
auburn tips like aaliyahs in romeo must die...
red tips in my bangs, on layers, and the longer layers
ive had golden red highlights which were heavy (red with a high gold hue to it)
and ive had brownish blonde..which is fading now...
im lookin for a new color, any suggestions?? my natural hair color is brownish black:)

I have some Andis clippers now but it takes me about 30-40 mins to cut my hair. They are about 1 yr old and have been the same since I bought them. Where can I find some good ones that'll cut my hair the first time and I don't have to pass it through my hair 3-4 times.

When I was in middle and high school I use to do hair on the side and I still do from time to time if my career will let me. I just can't find anything to do to my own hair without using extensions. My hair is shoulder lenght and a little damage from coloring. It's still healthy enough for a nice up to date style. I don't like sitting in a beauty shop. any suggestions.

I have had long dyed red hair since I was 13. I need a change and my hair is very damaged. I want to go back to a more natural color and would like to chop it all off!!!
