my hair is about four inches past the top on my shoulders. it's a little thicker then i would like, and it's slightly poofy, frizzy, and like a triangle. (thats mostly only on the day i wash it. i mean it does that afterwords.) anyway, it's the ends that are the most frizzt and poofy. so, should i get it cut to my shoulders? or should i try the shampoo stuff that supposidly fix's split ends?

Get it cut at least a few inches, because nothing will fix split ends. That's what I just did, too.

My hair is naturally a complete frizz ball and my advise is don't get it cut. If you cut it you'll make it a lot worse. It'll have less weight and stick up even more and it'll be summer soon so you don't want that.
Get a really good ceramic straightner. Go to the hairdresser and ask her to thin it out using a thinning scissors and maybe a trim to fix the split ends. Layering the back of it would also be good. Use good shampoos, try the frizz ease and a bit of cream or gel at the end of it and you'll be looking great.

The only way to fix split ends is to cut them....so thats what u need a trim and then a good shampoo and conditioner i suggest the Neutrogena line of stuff the ones in the little tubs are really good and then u need to get a hair serum and put that in to tame the frizz and let it air dry and then style it♥

The condition known as split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, occurs when the hair has been stressed too much and the stress frays the ends of the hairstrand. Common causes of trichoptilosis include damage from heat styling, bleaching, coloring, and use of inferior haircare products. Although some products claim to repair split ends, this just isn't true. The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off.

Don't cut it shorter - continue to let it grow longer (the extra weight will make it less "poofy") and in the meantime get the ends trimmed and get your hairdresser to thin it out. You should also have long layers put in so that the bottom is not the thickest part anymore. Make sure you use a serum to define curls as well.

Dont cut it, Like they said, the heavy weight will bring it down, maybe trim the ends for split ends. And do use the special shampoos, they wont do you any bad. I know they said flatning irons are bad for your hair, but not all are like that. Make sure they have ceramic, ceramic wont damage your hair and brings out the natural shine. It'll be pricey tho.

First see if it really is split ends. If it is, shampoo won't help it, but if it's just frizzy, try the shampoo.

def get a trim. Change your shampoo a lot. THey say suing the same shampoo and cond. every time you start a new bottle is bad. Keep up with trims. Ask you stylist how often you should get one.
