dread locks? and how do people like get them?

pretty much knots...long long knots. you have to put beeswax (or at leats that is how my friend did it) to keep your hair knotted together. can't brush them out, so if you want ot get rid of them, you have to cut them.

They are those rolls/knots in the hair. Look at Adam from Counting Crows. I don't know the styling procedure, but I think they can also form naturally by not washing your hair, or go to a hairdresser.
