#1 ~ I've used Mayo on my hair, not sure of the benefits, but my hair freaking STUNK after I washed it out!!

#2 ~ Not sure

#3 ~ I have naturally oily skin and find that I was having to wash my hair daily (sometimes 2X if I had plans that night) and it was drying out the rest of my hair. I currently use talc powder on my roots between washing to absorb the greasy look. I should also mention that I have blonde hair so I do not get that 'grey' look! ;-)

Hair, on average, grows up to 1/2 inch per month, and there aren't many things a person can do to increase that number. However, there are things you can do to ensure steady hair growth. Frequent trimming is the most important. Get the ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks to avoid getting split ends, which can halt hair growth. Nutrition is also important. A lack of nutrients can slow down hair growth. Taking a multi-vitamin supplement may help your hair grow faster. Adequate sleep helps as well, since sleep helps regulate hormone levels.

Mayo doesn't make your hair grow at all... it just makes you smell like potato salad and puts GREASE in your hair.

I don't know about you, but I don't want anything as acidy as ketchup anywhere near my scalp... or my hair. And no, it won't change your hair color.

Your hair doesn't get greasy at all. Your scalp becomes oily and it's genetic or an internal chemical change causes it. Washing your hair every other day will keep it clean without drying it out... And no, talc stop your hair from getting greasy...

the last one is true but i think it could make your hair look a little grey lol :P
i dont see the others as true, although the protein in mayonnaise may promote hairs shine and condition because hair is mainly protein as well.
