Hair - February 2007

I am thinking about going to get my hair done, but I have to get a hair weave because my hair is damaged, are there any hair magazines/websites/or anything where I can look to get a picture to bring to the hair salon? Is getting a hair weave more damaging? I can't get braids right now because I have short hair in the front as well as a bald area that is growing again. Thanks

ok me and my g/f have a hair dilema. we both want to cut and dye our hair.

Me: I want a new cut and dye job entierly. I want some scene/hardcore/emo/grunge ideas.

My g/f: She has stright across bangs and mainly just wants layers put into it and some scene/hardcore/emo/grunge coloring ideas.

I am 33. I used to color my own hair in college and it turned out fine. For the last few years I have been getting my hair professionally highlighted and I love the color...but I have five children and it is high maintenance and expensive ($120 every 6 weeks) anyway money is very tight and I feel like the highlights are drying my hair. It used to be so shiny and bouncy, now it is frizzy and dry. I just want to go to a neutral dark blonde. Can anyone hlep please?

I have really long naturally curly hair that drags half way down my back with 3 different types of blond highlights, am natural hair color is dark brown. I was thinking of a total change like having chopped of to my sholders, color it black with blue effect and leave it naturally curly or redo my highlights and have it short to my sholders. what do you reckon?

It is becoming a pain having to straighten and blow dry my hair if i want it stright and even that doesnt help when its humid or raining! any advice!

Have just had hair extensions put in last week and the shedding is driving me mad ive done everything the hairdresser told me to do and they are stll coming out in clumps im at my witts end. They are a very light blonde so have been processed a lot but surely they shouldnt be shedding this much. Any one got any ideas how to stop it???
