Hi Hermione
None of us have 'one' particular colour to our hair. It is made up of all tints and tones that give an overall 'shade'. I would say yours is Auburn, which is basically brown but with copper highlights. If you wanted to tone down the auburn ( which would be a shame), you would need to apply a brunette dye that has 'ash' in the title.
