Since ur hair is curly, u may want to get sum hair clips to help u. U know the kinds they use at the salons whenever they're separating ur hair. Start clock or counter clock wise, which u perfer. As u do a small section, put a hair clip there so it'll stay in place. Make sure u place the clips up in ur head, not down. Once, u've done ur entire head, wrap a scarf (make sure it is satin or silk) around ur head. Once the scarf is snug, u should be able to just slide the hair clips down and out ur head. The scarf will hold ur hair in the wrap until u take it down the next day. (Unless, u sleep very wildly.) If u want to be extra secure, take a second scarf, no matter the fabic, and wrap it on top of the first one. That should hold everything in place, until u're ready to take ur hair down.

I think I know what your talking about. Well you'll only need bobby pins and comb. First, you make sections to work with in your head with the comb. Then, you take a section and wrap it around, putting bobby pins in to secure it. Take the next piece and do the same thing.

Nana answered you correctly. Never use bobby pins they don't hold hair well, use hair clips the metal ones.
