My sister recently donated her pony tail to Locks of Love and we got into a discussion about if it would be enough to make one wig. She thinks yes, I say no. Does anyone with any knowledge know the answer?

Depend on the amount of hair they are receiving on each donation what I know for sure is a wig requires at least 4 oz (113.4 g) of hair.
maybe 2 or 3 ponytails (average).

It takes about 8 donations for them to make one wig plus it all needs to be around the same colour.

I prefer hair which is shoulder length or longer, And also since that men who like women are more often then not right, they like long hair because it looks more feminine, as most guys have short hair.

That depends on how much hair is acquired with each donation.
