I have wavy hair, and I straighten the bangs but when I try to striaghten the back, it gets poofy and NEVER goes straight. I cant get it too. What should I use? The only time my hair is straight and pretty is when I didnt wash it for a day,(I wash it ever night) but its all greasy and I hate it! How do I get it to look straight and awesome w/o having to not wash it? Can I use a chemical straightner even though I color my hair every month?

i have hair that is naturally wavy...its really long but think so if i try to slick it back it pops up above my head too far...how can i flatten it? also, my edges in the back behind my ears curl, how can i avoid the curl in the back once my hair is dry?

Hi,

I want to thank everyone for responding to my previous question about hair damage and how to fix it or help it. I couldn't figure out how to respond to the answers. I am new here, so I apologize.

Anyway, I have a question... How often can I deep condition my hair; for ex: leave on conditioner for a night or few hours? Is it possible that it can be over done and damage your hair as well?

I only wash my hair a couple of time a week and when I sleep it gets crazy. I can always recover it without washing it in the AM, but I would love an atlernative. Any suggestions??? Thanks Gals.

Help!!! I just got my hair colored/highlighted and it was supposed to be "SUBTLE"! It's NOT! It's practically blonde! My question is can I get some of the highlights colored back to a more realistically subtle shade? Or will it damage my hair? I used to have jet black hair and this is such a drastic change that my dog didn't recognize me and barked like crazy! By the way, I did have it done by a professional. I was so shocked at the salon, but wanted to be "open" about it...but this is really NOT what we talked about...she said subtle browns and it's a harsh yellow! It's been less than 12 hours and I called her and am waiting for a reply!
